Legal Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Staff record management (hiring/firing, orders, reporting, staffing chart, etc.).
  • General legal support.
  • Internal documentation preparation support (letters, PoAs, job descriptions, policies, regulations, etc.).
  • Support labor agreements preparation, keeping up-to-date.
  • Military registration.
  • Labour and fire safety.
  • Corporate compliance and implementation of global policies.
  • Provide pragmatic day-to-day assistance regarding employment matters in order to unblock business needs and appropriately balance achievement of business objectives against legal risk.
  • Collaborate with other members of Minsk Team to review and/or develop and implement local policies.
  • Monitor important developments in employment law, striving to spot trends in their infancy.
  • Work and build trust with cross-functional partners from teams across the Company.
  • Work closely with outside counsel in connection with various matters.

Experience:

  • English knowledge (upper-intermediate, fluent speech and writing).
  • Degree in law.
  • Deep knowledge of main regulatory documents and HTP specifics.
  • IT or international company experience is an advantage.
  • 3+ years experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house, with significant labour counseling experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, judgment, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort with managing complex workloads, multiple client demands, and shifting priorities.
